Final Day of Filming

Today was my last day that I had to film my commercial. Once I was able to leave, I went out with my partner, Sarah, to find a good place to pick up where we left off. I made my way over to the indoor stairs in building 20 to film the next shots. There, Sarah filmed me walking up the stairs several times. Just like last time, I wanted the focus to be on the shoes, since that's what the commercial is about. After finally getting the perfect shot, Sarah had me walk across the floor so she could get audio to use for the commercial. Next, I did some takes walking out the door of the building 20 stairs. It took several reshoots, but eventually I was satisfied with the outcome. Afterwards, I went over to the media center in order to film a specific scene. I found an adult in the media center and asked her if she would be part of the commercial, and she said yes. For this scene, I had to take some books from her hands and start shelving them. This scene was fun because I enjoyed having another person be apart of the project. Then, I went with Sarah to the track field to film the last things needed for the commercial. I had to jump off of a chair a few times, and she filmed my feet landing on the ground. The final thing I had to do for the commercial was kick a soccer ball in front of the camera. For this, I borrowed a soccer ball that a few other students were using. After about 5 minutes and a few takes, I returned the ball to them. With all filming finally wrapped up, I went back to the classroom. Overall, I really enjoyed the filming process, as it was fun to be apart of a realistic commercial. I am confident that the final product will be great.
