Will I Be Working In A Group?

  For the final task, I had to do some thinking about whether or not I wanted to work with others. After some consideration, I decided it would be better for me to do it on my own. There are many advantages to this, in my opinion. For one, I work better independently. It gives me more control over what I'm doing, and I can feel more comfortable relying on myself. Relying on others can be stressful, since I don't know how dedicated everyone else is. Considering how significant my grade is for this project, I don't want to risk messing that up. Also, I can brainstorm many cool ideas and have a complete say in which one gets chosen. There are some disadvantages to working alone, though. The final task requires a lot of work, so I will be taking on all of that myself. In addition, I will have to find others that I may need for the film since I won't have a group. Introduction (Final Task)

  My name is Christopher Hayman. I am an AICE Media Studies AS Level student, and I am starting my final task soon. For this project, I will be making the opening 2 minutes of an original movie. I have learned a lot throughout the first half of this year about filmmaking and media, and now is my time to put that knowledge to the test. I have always been very fascinated by art in many forms, so I really enjoy this class. I am also interested in movies and stories and seeing how they're made, and I have gotten to learn a lot about that. This project, as well as the ones I have previously done in this class, have allowed me to be creative which is something I excel at. Additionally, I love writing and reading, as these are also related to art. Outside of artsy, creative things, I enjoy travelling and spending time with people I care about.
