Introduction (Final Task)

My name is Christopher Hayman. I am an AICE Media Studies AS Level student, and I am starting my final task soon. For this project, I will be making the opening 2 minutes of an original movie. I have learned a lot throughout the first half of this year about filmmaking and media, and now is my time to put that knowledge to the test. I have always been very fascinated by art in many forms, so I really enjoy this class. I am also interested in movies and stories and seeing how they're made, and I have gotten to learn a lot about that. This project, as well as the ones I have previously done in this class, have allowed me to be creative which is something I excel at. Additionally, I love writing and reading, as these are also related to art. Outside of artsy, creative things, I enjoy travelling and spending time with people I care about. I love amazing experiences and making memories. This final task will give me another opportunity to put my creativity and my learned knowledge of media to work. I am excited to brainstorm ideas for my project. My only concern, however, is that I may be overwhelmed by this project. I have a lot of other classes and extracirriculars, so I will have to do my best to manage my time wisely. As long as I keep up with my blogs and assignments for the task, things shouldn't get too stressful. I also have to make sure to put my best effort into the project, since it is 50% of my exam grade. I am a very hard worker, though, so I am confident that I will do the best that I can. Overall, I think that everything I've learned in this class so far will help me greatly with this project. I am very excited to begin the final task!
