I will be filming in and outside of my house. The two main locations are my room and outside, where the driveway and porch are.

Health and Safety
Since this is a teen comedy film, production will not be highly risky or require extra precautions. The scenes mostly involve people talking, so no dangerous stunts will be performed. However, my mom will act as a supervisor during the production process, and can get help should anything go wrong (someone gets hurt, etc.). We will be staying relatively safe for the production of this sequence, but it is better to have a safety supervisor just in case.
For the scene where the protagonist and his mom are walking outside to the car, we will put on sunblock before filming. It will most likely be hot and sunny outside, so we will want to reduce the risk of harm to the skin. 

Schedule
3/5/22-3/6/22: Filming for the opening sequence will begin. The first 2 scenes will be filmed - the establishing shot of the outside of the house, and the scene with the protagonist typing on the computer in his room. We will film the initial takes on 3/5, and on 3/6 we will go back and reshoot (if needed) to perfect it.
3/12/22-3/13/22: The rest of the filming will take place. On 3/12, the next scene will be filmed: the montage of the protagonist getting ready for school. This will involve multiple "scenes" or shots, so it will most likely take some time, especially if reshooting is necessary. On 3/13, the final scene will be filmed, which is the scene of the protagonist and his mom walking out to the car. This will conclude filming. 
3/14/22-3/17/22: Editing will begin immediately after filming. I will use the same editing app that I used for my music video (InShot), but I may have to use other apps as well to find the right text font or visual effects. I have the music downloaded on my computer, so I will need to sync that onto the app so I can add it in. Once the clips and text are all put together, I will have the sequence finalized by 3/17.

Backup Plan
Since I have planned to use both days of these two weekends for filming, I can use the second day for all filming if the first day doesn't work, due to weather or other factors, such as my mom not being available. For example, if Saturday, 3/5 is a rainy day, I will switch the filming of the first 2 scenes to Sunday, 3/6 instead. If I am unable to edit the sequence during the week of 3/14, then I will utilize spring break if needed. I want to make sure I have the right tools and elements necessary to get the sequence right.

 Last Saturday, March 5, I began filming my opening sequence. I decided to film a small portion of the sequence only. This is because I wanted to split the filming process into multiple days. I first asked my mom if she would be able to take part in the filming. Thankfully, she was able to. We went outside to the front yard to film the establishing shot. This shot did not require either of us to show ourselves. I held the camera and pointed it forward for a few seconds. This is where I will edit in the opening credits and the title of the film. Then, I slowly panned over to my house to set up the next shot. Then, I changed into pajama-like clothes to film the next scene. I turned on my computer and opened a Word document to type on. Nike offers many different types of products, such as shoes, jerseys, bags, socks, and many more accessories and equipment. However, they are most commonly known for their shoes. One example of a product branded by Nike is the ZoomX Invincible Run. These shoes include soft, responsive foam, and a Flyknit upper that allows your feet extra security and breathability. They are only one of Nike's most tested shoes. These qualities make it an excellent choice for shoes that you can run and exercise with. Another product of theirs is the Air VaporMax 2021. These powerful shoes are complete with extra-stretchy Flyknit fabric, a recycled TPU heel clip, and a switched-on Swoosh that make it a pleasurable jog. Commercial is Done!

I am very excited that our commercial for Nike shoes is finally complete. Sarah and I have spent several weeks working hard on it, and it is incredibly satisfying to see it come together in the final product. The best part of this project was being able to insert our creativity into a real piece of media. It took a long time to complete and perfect, but it was a unique experience and I learned a lot while doing it. I learned how to plan and execute digital media and how to showcase creative talent through it. I also learned how to edit footage and merge it into a full-length film, which was incredible. Also, I loved being able to advertise a company that is as well-known and liked and Nike. Being able to demonstrate the greatness of their products was awesome. We are very happy that this commercial has come to be what it is now. Our work has definitely paid off, and we can't wait for you to see it!
