Finishing Filming

This weekend, I got to finish filming for my opening sequence. I was busy on Saturday, 3/12, so I was unable to film that day. However, Sunday, 3/13, was a free day for me. This is when I got to film the rest of the shots I needed. Last weekend, I left off on the scene where Henry's mom enters his room. My mom agreed to play this part. After this came Henry's "getting ready for school" montage. For this, I had my mom record me as I pretended to frantically search through my dresser to find the perfect outfit for school. Next, we went into the bathroom to film me brushing my teeth. This was an over-the-shoulder shot that focused on my reflection in the mirror. Then, we gathered my school props together for the next shot. This was the shot of me hurriedly packing my bookbag and walking away. This concluded the montage. Then, my mom and I were filmed walking out of the house in a tracking shot. We had to film multiple shots that focused on one of us at a time as we recited our lines for a shot-reverse shot. Finally, the tracking shot continued as we walked to the car and filmed the final scene. We reshot certain lines/shots when needed. Overall, I am very happy with how the shots came out. I can't wait to begin the editing process.
